Salsa BLKthorn 145 C Eagle 90 Transmission Bike - 29" Carbon

The Blackthorn 145 is Salsa's all-mountain bike, a rugged rig ready for backcountry trails and rowdy lines. It's most at home on steep and technical terrain both up and down the mountain, bringing fun to big days on the trail while remaining capable, confident, and cargo-friendly. The frame features carbon fiber construction with 6061-T6 aluminum links for durability. The Split Pivot suspension design delivers 145mm of efficient travel that's fully active under braking and supportive throughout its stroke, paired with a 160mm suspension fork. The Split Pivot+ design philosophy allows riders to switch travel class to 125mm rear/140mm front travel by swapping out the shock link and fork. The rear flip chip adjusts the head tube angle and bottom bracket height to accommodate varying terrain, wheel sizes, and personal preference. The frame includes integrated strap locations for tubes and multitools, fits two bottles on all sizes, and features top tube mounts for EXP-R Series Trillium Top Tube Bag or K-Edge computer mounts. The bike clears up to 29 x 2.5" tires, is compatible with mixed wheel sizes and most coil shocks, and includes molded frame protection.
