Cahaba Cycles Mountain Biking 101 Ride
Saturdays Mornings | Location: Oak Mountain State Park South Trailhead
Meet at the south trailhead at the end of Terrace Drive. Look for the "Cahaba Cycles" banner. This is a beginner-paced trail ride, perfect for first-timers or social riders wanting to meet other cyclists. There is always a ride lead that is responsible for the group so no one is left behind. If you’ve been wanting to try trail riding but have been afraid or unsure, this is the perfect ride. Watermelon Ride
9:00 AM Wednesdays | Location: Oak Mountain State Park, Golf Parking
Join Barb and Kal at the golf course parking lot in Oak Mountain State Park every Wednesday this spring and summer for a road group ride. All abilities welcome. Le Tour de Ham
Tuesdays Evenings
An eclectic fun Social Bicycle Ride that celebrates our right to ride. It tours through the bohemian fun parts of our city. This is the largest weekly ride in Alabama was created by Stan Palla and Vero Vanblaere (Naked Art). Ride meets at 6:00 PM and rolls out at 6:15 PM every Tuesday at the Silvertron Cafe in Birmingham and ends with food, drinks, and fun. Ride is 10-12 miles at the most. Saturday Stroll
Saturdays Mornings
This is a beginner / casual bicycle ride in downtown Birmingham, hosted by Le Tour de Ham, that meets under the Uptown sign in the main plaza at 08:00 and rolls out by 08:30. We will keep a casual pace and will not leave anyone behind. No Spandex required and all types of bikes welcome. We will make a loop through town and pick a place to hang out afterwards in Uptown.
There is a Zyp Bikeshare station at Uptown. You can rent a bike if you don't have one of your own. You can rent and unlock bikes from your smartphone with the ZYP App.
This is a ride at your own risk event on an open course with traffic. We will try to stay on less congested roads as much as possible. Helmets are required by state law for all riders under the age of 16. Helmets are highly recommended for adults.

Tuesday Night Worlds
Tuesdays Evenings | Location: Cahaba Cycles of Homewood
Start times will slowly graduate each week as daylight increases. Look for updates here. We will have route add-ons in place once daylight increases to include an additional loop. Use your own judgment for lighting early in the Spring time of year as daylight gradually increases but a rear blinky taillight is always encouraged. Standard route starts from Cahaba Cycles of Homewood: 36.4 miles, and 2,538 elevation gain. Several from the B group completed this route yesterday with some regrouping and a 17-18 mph average in 2hrs or less. Visit our Facebook page here for more info!

Thursday Night Trample Group Ride
Thursdays @ 6:00PM | Location: Alley Behind Redemptive Cycles, Birmingham
Each Thursday evening the Redemptive Cycles Family goes riding! The ride starts and ends in the alley behind the shop. Meet up at 6 P.M. we depart at 6:30, don't be late! This ride is open to everyone, even new riders. No fancy bike necessary! The ride will cover about 10 miles of mostly flat terrain at a relatively easy pace. There may be food available for purchase after the ride, but either way we will be hanging out and enjoying each other's company for a while after the ride.

Homewood Road Ride
Saturdays @ 7:30AM | Location: Cahaba Cycles of Homewood
This is a high tempo/intensity road ride. The ride will cover around 50 miles. This not a beginner ride. This is "race-simulation" type ride designed for a competitive rider. Avondale Sunday Road Ride
Sundays @ 2:30PM | Location: Avondale Park
This is an all-level road ride…from beginners to FAST. There are four groups that roll at the same time, all with different ride leads and distances. They are NO-DROP rides meaning no one is left behind. Beverages at Avondale Brewery after the rides. Slow Your Roll Ride
Monday afternoons
Looking to get on your bike and relax? The Slow Your Roll ride is a casual, social ride meant for people who love riding, not competing.
