Rubber straps used to secure bikes to Yakima hitch and strap racks manufactured prior to 2004. Each strap has 5 holes which are 3/4" in diameter. Since 2004 we have used rubber straps called Chain Straps, which each have 8 holes that are 1/2" in diameter.

Yakima's Chain Straps are replacement bike holding straps for various models of Yakima's trunk and hitch racks. The stretchy, sturdy rubber is easy on your bike's finish and is extremely durable for long life.

SKS stands for "Same Key System." These types of cores enable you to lock all your Yakima products with just one key. When replacing a core on your Yakima product, you may need a Control key to remove your existing unlocked core so you can transfer the core to a different Yakima product.

The LongArm Pad provides some extra protection when hauling gear on Yakima's LongArm truck bed extender. The pad combines durability and protection with a soft foam core and a ballistic nylon exterior that holds up over time. Yakima's ArmLock cable lock is compatible with their DoubleDown Ace rack (sold separately). It integrates into the rack, stowing in the rack's arm when the lock is not in use. And, you simply pull it out and wrap it around the outside bike and lock it to safeguard your bikes on the rack.
